Management (Community Services & Development) About the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) was formed on 1 January 2019.
The role of the Commission is to protect and enhance the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving aged care.
The Commission is the national end-to-end regulator of aged care services and the primary point of contact for consumers and providers in relation to quality and safety.
About the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) The purpose of the EPMO is to ensure that positive intentions are guided by disciplined program, project and change governance, resulting in the realisation of benefits in line with the Commission's strategic objectives.
The EPMO is comprised of three function and service areas:
Governance and ToolsImplementationQA, Audit and AnalysisAbout the Role The Resource Manager will support, manage and monitor the resource allocation for the EPMO.
It will be the Resource Manager's role to ensure that the EPMO's resources are well managed, monitored and supported for the EPMO to achieve its objectives and demonstrate value to the organisation.
Position Duties Assign available employees to projects in accordance with their skillsets and the project requirements.Monitor day-to-day project activities and corresponding resourcing.Capacity planning, ensuring that resources have capacity to work on upcoming projects.Monitoring and managing resources workload, utilisation and overtime hours.Manage resource conflicts.Overcome resource shortages by reallocating resources or assigning more staff.Understand all current and upcoming projects within the Commission and plan resourcing accordingly.Collaborate with the Commission's People and Culture team regarding staff training, compensation and benefit planning, payroll administration and hiring of new staff.Document processes, e.g.
weekly utilisation reports.Report Resource Status to the EPMO Leadership Team, raising risks and keeping the team informed of current resource status.Key Accountabilities Under the direction of the Director of the EPMO, oversee and coordinate the rollout of resources across the Commission's projects.Lead the recruitment and onboarding of resources required for the EPMO spokes.Monitor and report on resource workload, utilisation and overtime hours.Prepare reports for the EPMO Leadership team regarding utilisation overview, associated risks, and dependencies.Monitor and evaluate the achievement of KPIs and deliverables for EPMO spokes.Oversee and support the development of processes and guidelines for the request and allocation of resources.Position Eligibility Requirements (Selection Criteria): Bachelor's degree in human resource management, business management or equivalent.Experience managing programs and projects, including effective change management.Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Critical thinking, analytical and forecasting skills.Conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.Flexibility and good decision-making skills.Managerial and time-management skills.Experience using PPM Tools, Power BI and Agile approaches to Project Management.Understanding of the Commission's internal and external operating context.Position Notes: Salary offered will be between $114,247 - 130,300 per annum depending on skills and experience.
In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.Only candidates who hold Australian citizenship can apply.
