Epiroc is now hiring a Key Customer Manager for our Eastern Region based in Tasmania.
This is a key position within the Epiroc sales organisation, providing both our existing and potential customers with productive and innovative equipment solutions that represent longer term sustainable value for their business bottom line.
As the Key Customer Manager , you will assume responsibility for leading our efforts with a defined group of mining and civil customers located across Tasmania. The role will act as the primary customer contact, owning the customer relationship, while providing a conduit between Epiroc's other invested business disciplines and our customer's operating sites and corporate business teams.
This is a challenging and rewarding position within Epiroc. You will be able to demonstrate a proven knowledge and experience of the industry with the ability to identify specific application understanding and to be able to work through multiple facets of the customers' requirements to be able to offer viable and workable solutions, which result in market and sales pipeline growth.
You will need a demonstrated ability to engage with a broad range of both internal and external business stakeholders and promote the solutions and capabilities of Epiroc as a whole.
Your ability to look outside the norm and approach your work methodically and with a self-disciplined focus to prioritise and manage tasks effectively will be key to your success in this role.

The ability to make decisions within set parameters, and the confidence to deliver information to various levels within both Epiroc and the customer's organisations. A background in and understanding of business development, account management or general sales. A technical mindset - you don't need to be an expert regarding machinery as you will be supported in that space, but a solid understanding of technical considerations is important. Willingness to undertake extensive travel. Highly developed communication skills. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to find common ground with people approaching projects from differing perspectives. Exposure to mining and related industries will be well-regarded.
