Role Summary The Site Manager role works collaboratively with the team to organize and deliver EPC Turnkey or EPC-GE+3rd Party consortium led Turnkey projects (typically AUD300m plus) contract value. Initially a 12 month contract with extension up to two more years for the duration on the project.
Key Responsibilities First line of communication between Customer and GE at site Ensure EHS and Quality processes are implemented and strictly enforced Lead EHS culture change by integrating safety during project planning/development through to delivering projects Understand internal EHS policies/procedures and gain knowledge of local EHS regulations. Empower team to report any unsafe practices and take necessary actions to pre-empt accidents/incidents. React immediately to any untoward incident, communicate swiftly and transparently to senior management/stakeholders, take corrective actions to mitigate the situation. Participate in the performance of contracts/sub-contracts involving cranage/installation and commissioning crews. Define, develop, document, and roll out processes which will allow teams to capture and apply lessons learned on installation and commissioning productivities on projects. Manage GE subcontractors and partners where required by Contract Report site performance and productivity per the Site Manager handbook Support project closeout and turnover to O&M/Warranty Assist with resolving issues by coordinating and integrating the activities of internal functions (such as finance, engineering, product quality, project teams) and external parties (such as contractors, sub-contractors, the client, the consortium partner). About you In-depth Knowledge of Project Management and Project execution including Installation and Commissioning Knowledge of ISO & Safety Standards Good computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of Database operations. Knowledge on Renewable policies and national/state/regional requirements Ability to travel throughout Australia. Must possess a current Australian driver's license.
