The Infrastructure Services Division is looking for a proven leader to manage a small team, working closely with key stakeholders across the division, the department and other Government agencies, in supporting and leading business process improvements and system enhancements to drive effective and efficient management of the infrastructure portfolio.

The Business Improvement team are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills necessary to deliver transformational change in a complex organisation.
Your desire to embrace new challenges, and focus on identifying opportunities to improve outcomes, practices and processes will position you to succeed in this role.

About You Within the scope of the duties, the ideal applicant will have:
Demonstrated ability and experience in identifying and analysing problems, and then exercising initiative and responsibility to develop and implement solutions.
Demonstrated ability to build and sustain productive working relationships with team members, stakeholders and clients including the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives.
Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and consultation skills, in order to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal clients in order to meet expectations and improve service delivery.
Your Role As the Manager you will have responsibility for (but not limited to) the following:
Develop, implement, and administer program frameworks, including guidelines and procedures, to support the strategic direction and delivery of priority infrastructure programs.
Formulate innovative and workable strategies, and make recommendations, to mitigate risks and issues associated with program development and delivery.
Lead and manage governance practices and processes that support effective grants management.
Provide high-level advice for the Minister's Office, Deputy Director-General & Assistant Director-General, Branch management and senior executives, Regional Directors and Principals on a broad range of program-related matters.
Develop, maintain and foster effective networks, and regularly liaise with stakeholder groups across various agencies and governance groups to support the achievement of the program objectives.
Oversee and prepare program-related guidelines and reports, executive correspondence, briefs and materials complex in nature.
