Our emphasis is Success Through Effort with our vison focused on Engaged students learning with expert, accountable staff in a calm, ordered and caring environmentAbout the Role:As the Head of Department, you will:* Lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives. * Participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division. * Develop the quality of teaching and learning. * Nurture positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.The Head of Department is accountable to and under the direction of the Principal or delegate.As the Year Level Coordinator of Year 7, you will:* Manage Year 7 behaviour management and attendance * Work with school welfare team to engage with and support students with needs * Work with school exec team through data analysis to enhance student outcomes * Lead the school transition program linked to primary feeder schoolsPlease refer to the attached role description for any mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
