Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.Roster: 4 days | 4 nights | 8 offRole Overview: The purpose of these roles is to provide safe, efficient and optimal operation of the process plant to meet operational targets across both fixed plant and train load out, working from the Fortescue Centre HIVE.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify problems in operations process and resolve them in an efficient and timely mannerAccurate operational reporting to the business through platforms including but not limited to A-plus, Babelfish, Excel, OutlookUse correct recording, reporting and escalation processesMonitor system alarms and take corrective actions to rectifyPeriodically review & investigate relevant trendsActively investigate breakdowns and delays within the plantReview and maintain Fixed Plant control procedures including SWI's and single point lessonsQualifications and ExperienceProven experience in front line Fixed Plant operations essentialPrevious control room experience preferredExposure to SCADA systemIntermediate computer literacy skills and a passion for Innovation and TechnologyDemonstrated ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to work with several demanding prioritiesStrong understanding of production strategies for large scale Mining OperationsAbout UsBe part of something big.
