The Apprentice and Traineeship Company is one of the largest employers of apprentices and trainees in the state. We are a non-profit community-based organisation – so all profits are used for our local youth.
The Apprentice and Traineeship Company is currently taking Expressions of Interest for an Electrical Apprenticeship taking place in 2025. This position will be located in the Busselton Region.
What is included in an Electrical Apprenticeship? Electricians are highly hands-on and are involved in day-to-day work with electrical systems. This may include installing and repairing electrical networks in residential, industrial, and commercial settings. In this role, your daily activities will include testing, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical components, circuits, and wiring.
By starting your electrical apprenticeship, you'll also be involved in:
Reviewing wiring diagrams and blueprints to determine sequences and methods of operationMeasuring and laying out installation pointsConnecting wires and cables to terminal points and connectorsDiagnosing and testing wiring faults by using electronic equipmentWhat is required for this position? Strong attention to detailAbility to problem-solveA passion for fixing and repairingAn ability to planDriver's Licence (Provisional or Full Licence preferred but not required)Previous work experience in the field or a Pre-Apprenticeship in Electrotechnology (Certificate II) (Preferred but not required)Year 10 completion or equivalentAll applicants must have Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency.
