Your mission is to ensure best practices in environmental sustainability, risk mitigation, and legislative compliance while providing expert guidance, coaching, and development to enhance Kinetic IT's environmental stewardship.
You'll work closely with the Health & Safety Team and the broader Kinetic IT community to ensure the Environmental Management System remains compliant against ISO 14001 and applicable environmental legislation.
Additionally, you'll identify gaps, recommend improvements, and drive sustainable outcomes across the business.If you were here today, you would be:Develop and enhance the Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure alignment with best practices and compliance standards.Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics, ensuring accountability for meeting sustainability goals.Identify and mitigate environmental risks while promoting continuous improvement in sustainability initiatives.Provide expert advice and technical guidance to internal stakeholders and external consultants on environmental matters.Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to assist in the preparation of compliant business reporting under AASB S1 & S2.About you:2+ years' experience as an Environmental Specialist and/or 5+ years working in an Environmental advisory role.Working knowledge of ISO14001 and understanding of other sustainability frameworks and guidelines and standards (Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards, Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Ability to conduct analysis of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) processes and data measurement, including benchmarking organisational performance.A career-driven individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills who also embodies Kinetic IT's core values.The Kinetic IT DifferenceKinetic IT recognises the experience and performance of our crew is intricately bound to the achievement of enduring organisational success.
