Environmental Services Team Leader Permanent Part-Time with a Global Health Care Company! Join our team at Peninsula Private Hospital, managing and supporting our amazing staff! About the Role As an Environmental Services Team Leader you will be responsible for
Providing the highest standards of cleanliness to all areas of Peninsula as directed.This will involve ensuring all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas, in order to keep all staff, patients and families safe.This role will assist the Environmental Services Manager as required to ensure provision of the highest quality department services while working on the floor leading the team hands-on.Varied shifts, 7am-3pm and 2pm-10pmAbout You Your effective written and verbal communication skills will assist in providing excellent customer service at all times in line with facility standards, working directions from the Environmental Services Manager and giving instructions to other staff.
You will also bring:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hospital cleaning, or similar cleaning roleThorough understanding of chemical safety and hazard/infection control principlesPrevious experience in a team lead or supervisor role is essential.Act in a professional manner at all times when dealing with customers and staffBasic computer skillsHands on experience with floor cleaning machinery including floor scrubbers is essentialExperience in linen management and orderingExperience in waste handling practices Remuneration Per Hour - $31.93 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
About the Organisation Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14 bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs.
