The roles will be primarily based in ourPerthoffice with the option towork from home 2 days per week when not required on site.

Your work will include the full life cycle of contaminated site assessments across a range of projects including:
Legacy industrial sitesDecommissioning programs on large upstream oil and gas sitesTransport infrastructure projects including rail, road and portsProperty transaction due diligence assessmentsDownstream oil and gas sitesMine sitesDefence projectsWhat you'll do Conduct interesting environmental field works (e.g. drilling, hydrogeological testing, site validation, monitoring) with varied considerations for safety and intricate geology/ hydrogeologyCollect environmental samples of soil, groundwater, soil vapour, ambient air and landfill gas, etc.Interrogate large datasets, develop conceptual site models and prepare detailed and concise field notesDraft technical assessments reports and recommendationsOversee contractors and take responsibility for safe, compliant and quality field works programsApply legislation, standards, guidelines, and project specificationsBuild strong relationships with colleagues and clientsAbout you You are enthusiastic, reliable and great at building collaborative working relationships.
You will also bring:
Knowledge of soil contaminants and remediation strategiesSite sampling techniques, investigation methodologies and remediation technologies for groundwater, soil and gasUnderstanding of WA regulations pertaining to the management of contaminated sitesA current Australian Driver's LicenseYou're likely to have tertiary education in earth sciences or environmental science/engineeringAbout WSP WSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 15 offices in Australia.
