The Jacobs Planning and Environmental Approvals team delivers complex and technically challenging local and national projects for clients involved in a wide range of infrastructure and development activities, including state and national public utilities, renewable energy projects, transport infrastructure, resources and energy projects, and large-scale environmental management programs.
We are seeking to appoint an Environmental Planner to our Melbourne based Planning and Environmental Approvals team as we continue to build our national practice. This role will support the technical delivery and project management of projects within our Melbourne team.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Undertaking technical assessments to support the delivery of a range of projects, working collaboratively with a range of disciplines.
Undertaking planning assessments, including desktop assessment, site visits, and reporting, as required.
Assisting with writing proposals.
Here's what you'll need:
Tertiary qualification in planning, environmental science, or other relevant degree is essential.
Demonstrated success in preparing planning applications.
An interest in infrastructure.
Ability to work individually and as part of a wider collaborative team.
Business acumen.
Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
Excellent report writing abilities.
