Stockyard Beef, a family owned vertically integrated agribusiness located on the Darling Downs, is looking for a team member who likes driving machinery and working in an agricultural setting.
At Stockyard's Kerwee Feedlot, you will be working with a close-knit and collaborative Environmental Maintenance & Livestock team responsible for our cattle's comfort and wellbeing.
As an Environmental Maintenance Hand, you will assist in maintaining our award-winning standards across our yards, including:
Ground keeper maintenance Water infrastructure maintenance Occasional livestock handling and feeding when necessary Reporting through to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a feed lotting environment (12 months minimum) Experienced in operating a Loader A competent machinery operator (onsite training is provided) Experienced in truck driving and holds a manual license Can ride a horse and is experienced with low stress stock handling Feeding and milling experience (or a willingness to learn with onsite training provided) A team player with effective communication skills Mechanical minded Has good attention to detail and time management skills Takes pride in their work In return you will receive:
