Environmental Consultant - 6 Months

Position Senior Environmental Consultant - 6 months contract with an attractive day rate. Must be able to travel and be in both Newcastle & Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities Improve the environmental management and regulatory performance of the Company's operations, extending our commercial capabilities through strong engagement with internal customers and external stakeholders and authoritative technical advice.
Requirements Exceptional customer service and ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of the workforce. Degree / postgraduate qualification in environmental or natural resource management discipline or equivalent. 5 years of experience in an environmental advisory or natural resource management role. Strong data analysis and reporting skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment, manage well through ambiguity and complexity. Highly developed influencing & negotiation skills. Good commercial understanding to closely align performance with the business objectives. Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory frameworks and experience managing environmental approval processes. Highly developed skills in environmental auditing, incident investigation, and report writing. Exciting opportunity to join a business moving towards a renewable energy future.
