Exciting opportunity for an Environmental Advisor with the Tarong Power Station in the South Burnett. About Stanwell Stanwell provides the spark for a bright future, and that future starts now.

About the role This is a permanent full-time opportunity located at Tarong Power Stations.
We are looking for an Environmental Advisor to provide professional environmental advice and support to the corporation.
Coming to us with high-level Environmental Specialist qualifications and experience, your strengths will lie in developing, implementing and maintaining proactive environmental initiatives that will provide opportunities for sustainable improvement.
The position requires active participation in achieving the business' strategic direction for environmental management through the provision of effective environmental support and services.
Key activities include: Support and implement the Environmental Management System at Tarong Power Stations that is integrated into the Business and progressing through continuous improvement. Strive to achieve and maintain high standards within Stanwell's Environmental processes. Maintain workforce focus/involvement toward improving Environmental performance. Ensure compliance with the many statutory regulations and requirements. About you Experience as an Environmental specialist, ideally also in heavy industry environments.
A primary qualification in an Environmental discipline, such as a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or applied science.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and demonstrated success at developing constructive relationships across a range of stakeholder groups.
Expert Environmental knowledge to provide sound advice and develop solutions to complex problems.
