$104,284 - $147,238 p.a. + super (Band 5).About the roleAs TasNetworks strives towards a greener, more sustainable future, we aim to lead the way in environmental and sustainability practices to minimise our impact on the environment.We are seeking passionate Environment and Sustainability Specialists to support the business with expert advice, drive strategic initiatives, and contribute to the development of a progressive environmental sustainability culture.In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely environmental advice and support across the business. You will help underpin our Environmental Management System (EMS) with a suite of fit-for-purpose resources, focusing on building the environment and sustainability capacity within the business.As part of TasNetworks' broader cultural framework, you will influence an environmental sustainability mindset across the business, responding to environmental incidents (and supporting investigations where required), monitoring adherence to various plans and performance, ensuring reporting requirements are accurate and timely.About youAt TasNetworks, you'll have the opportunity to shape Tasmania's energy future and play a key role in building a sustainable future.You will join a team that values and understands environmental regulations and sustainability standards, where you will bring your demonstrated knowledge and experience in this area, coupled with a tertiary qualification in environmental management (or equivalent).You will hold your own personal commitment to the environment, with proven experience in continuous improvement in environmental management.You will highlight a proactive and risk-based approach to decision making, with excellent interpersonal and effective relationship building skills across a similar size organisation.Your ability to influence a positive sustainability culture, ensuring a strong customer focus whilst adapting during times of change will see you succeed in this role.What's on offerWe have two Specialist opportunities in the team, one is Permanent Full-Time role and the other is a fixed term, 12-month contract, both offering an attractive remuneration and benefits package.At TasNetworks we want to power a bright future for our people, our community and our customers.
