Key role in leading a systems transformation program that is in its initial phaseOversee the delivery and management of environmentsSydney, Brisbane, or Melbourne location with great benefits and flexibilityAbout the role The Environment Manager Lead will play a key role in leading a transformation program that is in its initial phase. This individual will oversee the delivery and management of environments across development, testing, and production systems while ensuring adherence to existing organisational standards and establishing additional standards as needed. The role requires strategic oversight and technical expertise to support the successful implementation of solutions aligned with the transformation program's objectives.
What you'll do Develop and implement environment management strategies, including provisioning, configuration, and resource allocation, to support the transformation program.Ensure compliance with existing organisational standards and lead the establishment of additional standards to align with program goals.Monitor and maintain environment integrity, ensuring consistency, stability, and compliance with defined standards and policies.Work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure environments meet transformation program requirements and timelines.Identify and address environment-related issues proactively to minimise disruptions.Drive automation of environment provisioning and configuration processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.What you'll bring 8+ years of experience in environment management roles, particularly in large-scale transformation programs.Expertise in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience in developing and implementing standards for environment management.Proven ability to manage complex environments and deliver under tight deadlines.What we can offer you Variety of flexible work arrangements and leave options.Industry leading 20 weeks paid parental leave and 4 weeks secondary carers leave.Generous discounts on insurance products.Exclusive offers on more than 400 retailers including Myer, David Jones, Coles, and Woolworths.Invest in your brighter future with ongoing study support and career development programs.About Suncorp Group We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia's most trusted and diverse names in insurance.
