About the Role Are you a recent graduate eager to kickstart your career in finance and analysis? We're looking for a passionate and analytical individual to join our dynamic Credit Strategy team in Brisbane. As a Credit Strategy Analyst, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of credit risk management while making a real impact on customer experience and growth initiatives.
Role Location: Brisbane
What will your day look like? As a Credit Strategy Analyst, you will:
Collaborate with the credit risk strategy team to support growth while effectively managing risk. Dive into various credit strategy initiatives, helping to drive innovation and improvement. Analyse and interpret data to provide valuable insights that enhance our risk culture. Engage in data analysis, cleansing, and modelling of large datasets to inform decision-making. Contribute to change management initiatives that enhance our credit risk strategies and customer experiences. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong attention to detail and a passion for data analysis. Experience with SAS or SQL coding and familiarity with large data models. Ability to distil complex analyses into clear, actionable reports. Creative problem-solving skills and a knack for strategic thinking. Some knowledge of credit risk regulations is a plus, but not essential. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively present your findings. A collaborative spirit and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills. We value a growth mindset, so if you have most of these things in your toolbox, we'd love to hear from you.
