Full time – 2 year fixed term contract with opportunities to extendBand 8 Salary $113,068 to $125,539 per annum plus superannuationAn exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic teamReporting to the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) Lead, this role forms part of the EPMO Team, and the Infrastructure and Environment division.
The role will play a key role in ensuring Council's projects portfolio delivers its strategic value through the review of key project artefacts, provision of advice and support in resolving complex issues, effective stakeholder engagement and project assurance activities.
Collaborating closely with project and program managers, the EPMO Controller partners with the business and is the trusted advisor to the internal Owners and Project Managers for the EPMO service within the Council.
You will be responsible for developing and improving project tools, templates and resources, enabling the successful execution of projects aligned with our strategic priorities.
This is a fixed term contract position for 2 years with the possibility for extension.

To be considered for this opportunity you will:
demonstrate your project management expertise with proven experience in EPMO/PMO roles and the ability to coach others and build project management capabilityhave a very solid project management background with a high level of expertise and strong experience in EPMO delivery, organisation, stakeholder management and process designbe driven to deliver outcomes with a collaborative approach, being the trusted advisor and strategic thinker equipped with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities and the confidence to navigate complex relationships, interacting with key internal and external stakeholdersdevelop, manage, and continuously improve reporting dashboards, tools, and templates to enhance project data accuracy and timelinessbring your well developed written communication skills and the ability to produce reports, policy development, responsible for meeting cadences and production of meeting packs, minutes and distributionhold Tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience in one or more of the relevant fields of project management, experience and/or understanding of a PPM system (Portfolio & Project Management) along with experience working within a government department.To apply for this position please click on the Apply button and submit your application.
