Position: Enterprise Architect
The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the company's architectural strategy, frameworks and guidelines. This includes designing, developing and driving Coates' enterprise architecture to execute technology and business strategies, in a way that allows rapid innovation that is cutting edge, scalable and allows shifts in product direction. The Enterprise Architect will ensure that the IT strategy is aligned with Coates' mission and vision for the future and accomplishment of our strategic big rocks, creating an agile and resilient architecture for future changes, necessary to meet future business objectives.
Individual Accountabilities

Ensure that IT strategies, systems, and investments align with the organization's business goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for enterprise architecture that guides the evolution of technology and processes in alignment with business needs.
Define and implement an architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) to guide the design, implementation, and management of IT systems.
Establish governance processes and structures to ensure that architectural decisions adhere to organizational standards, policies, and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and tools that align with the enterprise's strategic objectives and architecture principles.
Develop long-term plans and strategies for technology investments, upgrades, and innovations to support business growth and transformation.
Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure that architectural solutions meet their expectations.
Define and enforce architectural standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across the organization's IT systems and processes.
Promote and implement industry best practices in architecture design and implementation.
Identify potential risks related to the architecture, including security vulnerabilities, compliance issues, and technology limitations.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends that could affect the organization's technology strategy and architecture.
Identify and recommend innovative technologies and solutions that can drive business transformation and enhance competitive advantage.
Ensure that the enterprise architecture complies with relevant regulations, standards, and industry requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with 3+ years in a similar role leading architecture teams.
5+ years as a solution architect.
Experience in large scale web applications at a global scale, cloud infrastructure including AWS, GCP and Azure and IoT devices.
Expertise in developing and executing technology strategies that encompass a consolidated vision for software, hardware and infrastructure.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking and communication skills.
