The Enterprise Architect will be initially responsible for developing target state architecture for our major business capability which has completed a live pilot for one of the many facilities across Queensland.
Learnings from the pilot will be used to develop the target state.
The target state requires further definition regarding migration, transition and target states from legacy on prem to SaaS and cloud for all facilities inclusive of user access management, rostering of care staff, scheduling optimisation and reporting requirements.Capability modelling and associated conceptual solutions for current and future states will be required to support the outcome and stakeholder decisions during the development of this body of work.
Expectations are that the candidate will manage critical assumptions and unknowns to resolution to reduce delivery risk.
Work packages with estimations, sequencing and timelines are expected with the support of the BAU delivery teams.Candidates will report into a centralised architecture team and are expected to present designs iteratively and align to internal governance and principles.
Stakeholders will have a common understanding across all states and work required to transition.Logical architecture, Application and Data design are not essential, but candidates who can provide these skills may be prioritised.About the roleMinimum 8 years' experience producing Enterprise Architecture designs for medium and large sized business applications across Health care management and one or more capabilities of Finance, HR and Workforce Management, Corporate, Customer Service;Experience with platform replacement of one or more of core business or business supporting applications;Developing draft quality architecture documents in a workshop style session from conversational inputs.
Producing system context or sequences in a format that technical and non-technical attendees understand;Developing architecture in a large portfolio with dependency adjacent projects in various states of delivery;Capability or Requirements Modelling to fit architecture significance;Familiar with REST and Event APIs and Design by contract principles;Understand and draft basic UML notation, primarily sequences.
