Are you a highly motivated Enrolled Nurse looking for a part time in a Day Surgery Unit.


Gold Coast Private is seeking experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our perioperative team in our DSU.You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy variety and develop versatility in your skill set working across pre-admissions, care post procedure and discharge
About us Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 339 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct. Specialities include and are not limited to: 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include: · Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
· Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
· Act as a role model for Safe Practice
· Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
· Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
· Current Registration with AHPRA
· Minimum 1-2 years DSU experience
· Enrolled Nurse Qualification in Monitoring and Administering IV Medications (or working towards)
· Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Exceptional time management and organisational skills
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
