In this role you will:
Deliver high quality, person centered care to residents and families, including consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs such as palliative care, dementia support, restorative care and pain management to enhance their wellbeing Support nursing staff regarding assessment and care planning processes, documentation and evaluation of care outcomes Analyse risk, implement strategies and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management in consultation with the Registered Nurses Work a set roster of Sunday to Tuesday: 21:45pm to 07:15am About you: You are passionate about what you do and want to make a difference in the lives of our residents to support them to live life to their potential!
Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2) Experienced as an EEN in residential aged care/home care (preferred) Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired) Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on the spot problem solving Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast paced environment with exemplary communication skills in a team and one on one interactions with all levels of care partners Available and committed to work in the above mentioned roster vacancies Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions Committed to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust) Essentials for working in Aged Care: A current Working With Children Check card Current and ongoing flu vaccinations Australian working rights Ability to pass a national police clearance Make a positive difference in your community – apply now!
