Deliver high quality, person centered care to residents and families, including consideration for cultural, spiritual and individual needs. Provide nursing care to residents with complex needs such as palliative care, dementia support, restorative care and pain management to enhance their wellbeing. Support nursing staff regarding assessment and care planning processes, documentation and evaluation of care outcomes. Analyse risk, implement strategies and participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses. Promote a harmonious team approach by acting as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management in consultation with the Registered Nurses. Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2). Experienced as an EEN in residential aged care/home care (preferred). Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired). Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis and on the spot problem solving. Demonstrated abilities to delegate and prioritise in a fast paced environment with exemplary communication skills in a team and one on one interactions with all levels of care partners. Happy to be available for 3 or 4 shifts in a row including a Saturday or a Sunday. Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions.
