This position attracts a Queensland Health Attraction Incentive of up to $20,000 - find out if you qualify here: Workforce Attraction Incentive Guideline Scheme About us: The Specialist Outpatients Department spans 3 levels of the Rockhampton Hospital covering 9 major specialties - Cardiology, Dermatology, Ear, Nose and Throat, General Surgery, General Medicine, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Urology. The SOPD team works closely with a wide range of other departments including Renal Services, Cancer Care Services, Allied Health, Department of Child Safety, Operational Services, and Community Services. About the role: A Nurse Grade 3 is an Enrolled Nurse (EN) who supports a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife (RN/RM) in the provision of patient centred care as specified by registration requirements, Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care.

Will work directly with a range of staff within the Specialist Outpatients Department, under the direct or indirect supervision of a RN/RM.
Seek assistance and support in decision making from a RN/RM.
About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.

Ability to communicate oral and written information promptly and accurately.
Demonstrates sound evidence-based clinical skills for an EN and knowledge in area of practice and setting working within the scope of practice for an EN.
Ability to work well in a team and adapt to change.
What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $63,559 p.a. is comprised of:

An hourly rate between $35.92 - $38.12 p.h.
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
17.5% leave loading
