*Permanent Staff ideally will be available between Morning and Afternoon shifts.

The care you will provide will be person-centred and relationship-focused, with the understanding that no person is the same.
About the role: This role is a clinical support role.
It is the expectation from HammondCare that this role is carried out within a consultative and advisory context rather than an authoritarian approach.
The role has a level of professional accountability and responsibility in line with the registration requirements as an EN qualified and current registration with AHPRA.
As the EN, you will be a core member of the residential team and work with both the management of the home and the carers to provide tailored and individualised responsive care for the residents.
Advise, support, educate and work alongside care staff to deliver quality careWork closely with health professionals; i.e., Allied health and DentalAdvocate for residents and familiesMaintain, review and follow care plansAdminister medicationsProvide clinical and specialised nursing support and advice as required and under the supervision of a Registered NurseMaintain and review clinical records (e.g., assessments, wound charts, care plans, progress notes, etc.)
within the scope of the EN roleEnsure effective communication with the care staff and the Registered Nurses onsiteTo be successful in this role, you will: Have current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled NurseBe flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including weekendsValue teamwork but also be able to work independently and show initiativeHave knowledge & experience of people living with Dementia & their needsHave a genuine passion for serving elderly people & you want to make a difference in their livesPossess strong admin and computer skillsWhat are the other benefits of working with HammondCare?
