Engineering Technologist

The Engineering Technologist will be responsible for applying engineering principles to optimize workshop and store processes, introducing operational improvements and sustainable practices. This role involves analyzing and supervising technical operations, as well as collaborating on the development of new processes and innovation for resource efficiency, sustainability and operation.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate engineering technologies to enhance processes in areas like sales, purchasing, and maintenance, improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Continuously research emerging engineering trends to integrate new technologies and optimize work practices.
Manage all aspects of costing, planning, and methodologies for projects, ensuring profitable outcomes and adherence to deadlines.
Create and supervise technical drawings for equipment supports and other structures, ensuring compliance with technical standards.
Implement new systems and technologies, ensuring effective utilization and maintaining quality management systems in line with ISO standards.
Conduct financial analyses, oversee building and equipment maintenance, and ensure project viability and profitability.
Work with cross-functional teams, provide training, and compile reports to communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.
Develop and conduct tests to assess the effectiveness of new technologies and processes within the organization

Requeriments:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field
Experience in implementing news processes, focusing on quality and optimization.
Familiarity with ISO certifications (such as ISO 9001) and technical standards.
Knowledge of technologies applied in the automotive sector will be an advantage.
Knowledge of building maintenance will also be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills, preferably with experience in engineering tools, CAD and SAP (Module Integration)
Excellent communication skills to convey technical ideas clearly and practically to the team

Required Skills:

Strong technical knowledge in engineering disciplines
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
Proficiency in design and simulation software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
Attention to detail and a focus on quality

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
