Engineering Technician

Renewable Bio Operations Pty Ltd, a leading producer of raw biomass for sustainable energy, is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team in Esperance.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Biochar Processing Technician plays a critical role in our biochar production operations.
This role involves operating and executing production-related tasks as directed, ensuring that output targets are achieved in a safe, sustainable, and cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for:
Understanding and achieving operational targets, ensuring efficient and sustainable biochar production.Operating and monitoring the biochar production process, ensuring that safety and quality standards are met.Collecting and reporting baseline data for each batch of biochar produced, contributing to quality control and process optimisation.Analysing existing technology and making recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.Maintaining accurate records of production activities and contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.Troubleshooting mechanical components and systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and meeting operational requirements.Ensuring that designs and finished work meet specifications, regulations, and operational targets.Qualifications: Driving licence.Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical or electrical trade preferred.At least 2-3 years of experience as a Technician in a relevant industry.Experience managing operations across multiple sites.Mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and computer skills.Ability to interpret process instrumentation diagrams.Excellent documentation, analytical, and reporting skills.Strong teamwork and communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
