With over 500 professionals working across Australia, Veris combines innovative technologies with some of Australia's best spatial experience to deliver an integrated approach to the full project life cycle, from initial planning and feasibility through to construction and beyond.The OpportunityVeris is hiring for a suitably experienced and motivated Engineering Surveyor to join our Perth team. Working both independently and as part of our talented team, you will have the opportunity to work on both Perth-based Metro projects with remote project work as required. The role is a full-time position based out of our Perth office with a 30% of the year requirement to operate on a FIFO basis.Key Responsibilities:Undertake surveys within the rail environment including new construction, renewals, set-out, audits, and maintenance tamping.Carry out survey calculations, drafting, and reports where necessary including the use of any appropriate software to facilitate.Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities and project guidelines.About YouTo be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:Proven and diverse experience in surveying with Rail experience.Tertiary qualifications in Surveying or Engineering.Willing to take on a mix of Perth and project work with flexibility on rosters depending on the project.12d & 12d field would be desirable.Proficiency in the use of Trimble surveying equipment and software is desirable.Previous Gedo Rail Survey Equipment experience would be required for the role.The ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones.Comfortable managing the on-site responsibilities of your project.Current Australian driver's license.Our CultureAt Veris, we value providing a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual is treated with dignity and respect.
