These roles play an integral part of the service delivery team to ensure all installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and process improvement work is performed to the highest standards.
Undertake a range of duties relating to the installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and process improvement of Sandvik Rock Processing Australia equipment on customer sites.Undertake inspections and testing, equipment fitness checks, problem identification and solution, root cause analyses on customer equipment and provides this information to the Engineering team as required.Assist with commissioning scope and plan development, assist with site mobilisation requirements.Actively supports the AM Technical Support Reps and Customer Service Representatives with assistance on parts identification, parts compatibility, spare parts lists, basic equipment operation and maintenance support knowledge.Oversee and supervise maintenance/repair activities on customer sites on Sandvik Rock Processing Australia equipment.Prepare scopes of work for ongoing customer maintenance requirements.Share knowledge of vibration and train loading equipment best practice with customersActively seek out opportunities on customer sites to provide Sandvik Rock Processing Australia equipment servicing, spare parts, and training.Deliver equipment training packages to customers' operational and maintenance teams.Complete initial inspections and equipment testing, fault finding and technical reporting in the role of first responder to customer equipment issues.Actively promote the full Sandvik Rock Processing Australia range of products and services when on site with our customers.Support sales and engineering teams to identify equipment design and process upgrade opportunities.What you'll bring: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering and site related experience.Leadership and Supervisory experience.Basic understanding of vibrating equipment design focusing on the mechanical and dynamic components (i.e., stress, strain, natural resonance, etc.).Conversant with AutoCAD or similar.Demonstrated practical experience and understanding of vibrating equipment maintenance and operation.Conversant in MS Office including MS Project.Demonstrable technical reporting skills, including RCA's.Extensive travel, weekend work and site visits at short notice are the requirement of the role.Be able to qualify for mine site induction.A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset.What we offer: We believe that our people are the heart of our organisation.
