Engineering Managers - Combat Management SystemAs part of our Naval Combat Systems group, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for end-to-end technical leadership for the delivery of the (Anzac/Hunter/Hobart) AusCMS Variant delivered under the Enterprise Partnering Agreement (EPA). The size of the team will depending on the size of the Variant Task including resources assigned from other groups. Parts of the work could be captured in Work Packages provided to different groups for completion.
Further, the successful candidate will: Detailed understanding of the AusCMS product familySupporting Combat Systems Integration Group in changes required to the AusCMS Family Statement Of Requirements (SOR) for the AusCMS Variant ReleaseSupporting the Combat Systems Integration Group with the generation of the Platform Specific AusCMS Variant SSS from the approved AusCMS Family approved SORWork with the Product Group PM team to add the AusCMS Variant work to the Build Plan, liaising with Software, Hardware, Integration and Verification teams on the optimum build sequence including intermediate builds for integration testing, demonstrations, early integration testingDevelopment of the AusCMS Variant Product Specification from the AusCMS Family System Specification (SS)Development of the AusCMS Physical Architecture based on the AusCMS family architectureFlexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office will be considered for this role. About youYour skills and experience will include: At least 5 years' experience in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management within an Australian Naval Defence environment.Broad based competency across the whole systems engineering lifecycle.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong competency in stakeholder managementUnderstanding of System engineering fundamentals.As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
