We're leading the future of snacking with iconic global and local brands such as Oreo, Cadbury, Philadelphia, Pascall, The Natural Confectionery Company, Belvita, Ritz and Toblerone with global revenues exceeding $31 billion USD.Reporting to the Capital Engineering Manager, this role will see you plan, develop, and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital project execution to support growth and world-class manufacturing.This position will suit a curious and big-picture thinker with a strong background in process engineering, looking to further develop their skills in project management at our iconic Cadbury site in Hobart.How you will contributeTo ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical of capital investment projects.You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and lead/support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimise resources, harmonise assets and rollout best practices.In this role, you are responsible for managing several capital project executions in parallel. You are accountable for the quality, and the results of capital projects meet Mondelez standards in business and innovation processes in project management.What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:An engineering degree recognised by the Engineers Australia Institute is required to be considered for this position; chemical/mechanical/electrical. Proven experience in project management methodology.Strong conceptual and analytic skills – enjoys problem-solvingExcellent communication skills and ability to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to steering committee membersExcellent project planning and proactiveness in identifying risks and mitigations and managing strict timelinesStrong focus on cost, schedule, and quality of project delivery.Proven ability to build effective teams across internal and external partnersAbility to identify cost-effective, high savings productivity solutions and develop projects to improve performance, product quality, safety, sustainability, yield and manufacturing cycle times.Senior-level technical expertise across engineering disciplines. Having technical knowledge in chocolate/food will be considered an advantage.
