We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our client's team. This role is part of the senior leadership team and reports to the CEO. The primary function of this role is to lead and oversee organisational engineering strategies to enable the company to achieve strategic and operational goals.
Role & Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for engineering activities across the business.Set development objectives and monitor engineering projects across the business.Prepare engineering budget and forecast capital expenditure.Manage engineering staffing levels, staff allocation to projects and resource conflicts.Report on project progress against schedule and cost targetsLiaise with external business partners & stakeholdersImplement best practice engineering strategies to improve business performance. Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualified with 10+ years of experience in Embedded Technology R&D or RF engineering.Experience leading an engineering team.Passion for embedded software development and associated technologies.Demonstrated drive to learn and improve continually.Strong people skills and enjoy working with others.Exceptional stakeholder & customer service mindset.
