From 26 offices in 15 countries, with projects in over 80 locations worldwide, we create sustainable outcomes for our people, clients and communities.As a result of a growth driven by a growing volume of awarded work in commodities including metals and battery minerals, metals our team is growing and seeking a motivated Engineering Manager to join our team in our Perth office.This key role will suit an EPCM experienced engineering leader with a successful track record of technical leadership, enabling team performance and the ability to communicate technical solutions across diverse internal and external stakeholders.Your ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee engineering and design aspects of mineral processing engineering projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies and detailed engineering for the disciplines of Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation.Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, primarily providing technical expertise as well as guidance and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.Be responsible for technical approval and sign-off of the project's engineering and design.Collaborate with the Functional Managers (Mechanical / Civil & Structural / Electrical and Instrumentation) to ensure positive project outcomes from a technical and schedule perspective.Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.About you A Bachelor's degree; Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.Extensive experience with discipline engineering within a mineral processing EPCM environment with proven experience in a leadership role. Experience in either Gold, Rare Earths or Nickel is advantageous.Strong technical expertise in mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.Demonstrated success taking ownership of engineering deliverables to support demanding project schedulesProven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from concept to completion, with a focus on safety, technical quality, and client satisfaction.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a strong emphasis on planning, scheduling, and budgeting.Strong commercial acumen with knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and advancements. Why Ausenco? We support individual growth and aim to allow you to work in a way that plays to your strengths.
