This position will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for providing technical and project support to the operational team.The position requires someone with a high level of motivation and self-discipline, ensuring a strong commitment to health, safety and quality in order to deliver on client expectations. You will have the opportunity to assist the leadership team with quality assurance and compliance, ensuring systems of work and output meet KPI's and comply with company and client policies, drive a continual improvement mindset, and deliver on scoping and scheduling requirements.This position is a FIFO (Fly-In, Fly-Out) opportunity to Karratha, EX-Perth only.We would like to hear from you if you have the following:Bachelor of Engineering – Civil or StructuralCurrent and active Australian C-Class driver's licenseMinimum 2-3 years' post graduate experience in similar role, developing project/construction schedules and work packs, completing progress reporting and monitoring milestonesWorking experience in mining, resources, or civil construction industryExperience in managing subcontractors (essential)Ability to work within a team environment remotely and make decisions autonomously while reporting to the Project ManagerPlanning the works and scoping monthly lookaheads according to the construction scheduleQuality assurance management in accordance with the technical specificationsCommercial acumen with Project cost forecasting and controlClear written and technical skills with demonstrated capability in commercials, budgets/construction metrics and change managementExperience with CAD packages desirableA high degree of communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsA strong focus on safety and complianceAbility to effectively liaise with clients on behalf of the companyCurrent Rio Tinto inductions are advantageousAbility to pass a Rail medical including drug & alcohol screenAll applicants must have the right to work in Australia to be considered and meet other pre-employment checks required for site and rail access including medical and national police clearance.
