Your efforts will be crucial in creating a supportive experience from initial interest to enrolment, with a strong emphasis on personalised communication and engagement activities.
You will: Implement and manage outbound campaigns and engagement activities to connect with future students. Provide essential information about UniSC programs and support services to those in the application stages, ensuring a smooth transition into university life.Contribute to the design and delivery of campaigns aligned with student needs and engagement goals. Create and edit call scripting, materials, and communication strategies to encourage student engagement.Identify and coordinate personalised engagement activities for prospective students facing barriers to enrolment. Offer trauma-informed guidance, fostering a positive introduction to the university experience, with tailored follow-up and connections to support services as needed.About you You possess strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a proven ability to prioritise your workload and balance competing deadlines effectively. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. Your commitment to providing excellent customer service shines in fast-paced environments, where you excel at building positive relationships with prospective and new students, as well as academic and professional staff, fostering a unified approach to enhance the student experience. Additionally, your strong analytical skills enable you to address multiple priorities, identify effective solutions, and adapt seamlessly to a dynamic work environment.
You will possess: Completion of a degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, or training.Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills to deliver successful communication strategies and/or outbound campaigns with a focus on student engagement.High level of digital literacy, including extensive experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite, to support data analysis, reporting, and campaign insights.A demonstrated understanding of the challenges facing tertiary institutions when communicating with students, and the ability to empathise and refer students to accurate support services appropriately and efficiently.Position Description: 7230 Engagement Officer, Study at UniSC
