The Opportunity:We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Engagement Engineer to become a key player in our Building, Operations, and Services (BOS) team at CSL Melbourne. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the coordination, development, and operational support of our Engineering Services, with a special focus on building operations, including our R&D Laboratory and essential building utility services.As an Engagement Engineer, you will take on diverse responsibilities, including Project Delivery and Process/Plant Engineering. You'll also play a crucial role in our External Engagement team, working with prestigious institutions like the Jumar Bioincubator and the Bio21 Institute.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Engineering Engagement Lead, you will:Troubleshoot and Resolve: Address and resolve operational issues in facility plants and building utilities, with a special focus on key third-party operator services.Support Operations: Assist with plant shutdowns, start-ups, and maintenance interventions for plant and building utilities.Data Management: Ensure system and equipment data is up-to-date within the CMMS (e.g., SAP PM) and update.Technical Documentation: Review and understand technical documentation for processes within the CSL Melbourne site.On-Call Duties: Perform on-call duties, including out-of-hours alarm response when rostered.Audit Readiness: Help the Engineering Services team maintain audit readiness for TGA and OGTR inspections.Safety Standards: Uphold high safety standards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as CSL's policies and directives.Research & Development (R&D) Project Support: Support R&D project delivery activities for external stakeholders.Master Data Management: Generate, maintain, and review Plant equipment Master Data for Preventative Maintenance Tasks and Schedules.Maintenance Coordination: Assist in coordinating and executing Preventative Maintenance Tasks and ad-hoc work orders.Experience:B.Eng in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) with 2 to 3 years of experience in plant operations (preferred).Understanding of R&D laboratory operations, facility design and maintenance.Knowledge of regulatory guidance such as FDA, TGA and OGTR (PC2 or greater).Experience in commissioning, qualification, and validation processes.Understanding of quality management systems and/or experience in audits (preferred).Knowledge of shutdown planning, asset criticality, preventative maintenance planning, and spare parts ordering (preferred).How to Apply?If you are passionate about engineering and eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment, we want to hear from you!
