Division: Independent Public School - Wheatbelt Education Region
Salary: Level 7, $128,077 - $136,891 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)
Please note as of Monday, 18 November at 9:50am there has been an amendment to the FTE of this position. This is a twenty-four (24) month fixed term, part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing January 2025 with possible extension and/or permanency. The Wheatbelt Education Region is looking for a motivated Engagement and Transitions Manager to join their team.
The Role The successful applicant will provide support and advice to ensure the development and implementation of strategic directions to maximise transition services across the region and schools. They monitor and assess the effectiveness of the programs and strategies, as well as facilitate links between schools, State Training Providers, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), Education Regional Office and the Department in implementing policy and key initiatives.
You will also identify student support service gaps and provide advice accordingly. The Engagement and Transitions Manager will be required to evaluate, monitor and report on programs, service maintenance and operational standards across the region. You will also develop effective risk management plans.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
