A new position has been created for an Engagement and Fundraising Manager reporting directly to the CEO:
We are looking for a changemaker to lead the strategic development and growth of engagement and fundraising for Legacy WA. You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of innovative strategies to drive sustainable growth in line with our new strategic plan.
The position will be based at Legacy House, West Perth and when required, at the Veterans and Families Hub in Rockingham. You will be leading a small, passionate team in a supportive environment for a charity undertaking vital work for families in need, which is incredibly rewarding.
Key Responsibilities: Leads a team to deliver Marketing, Communications, Community Engagement and Fundraising ActivitiesPlanning, development and implementation of business systems, methods and processes to enable Legacy WA to successfully deliver engagement and fundraising campaigns.In collaboration with the CEO, develop and implement a fundraising strategy, including increased acquisition, activation, retention, and Corporate Partnerships.Alongside the Community Programs Specialist, develop and implement an engagement strategy across all platforms to increase engagement with the community.Develop strategic fundraising campaigns to maximise engagement and acquire new donors.Develop and implement operational plans and budgets for all engagement and fundraising activities (including but not limited to) major gifts, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and community engagement.Manage an exciting new website build for Legacy WA through agency coordination and collaboration.Supporting the CEO in the development of corporate partnership proposals and other supporting documents.Marketing qualification highly regardedTrack record of leading teams to achieve audacious goalsDemonstrated experience in campaign development particularly digitalPrevious/transferrable experience in fundraising, with a successful track record in increasing donations/income and acquiring new donors and retention/digital journeysStrong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices, including donor cultivation, stewardship, and recognition strategies.Project managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.High level of computer literacy and demonstrated knowledge and experience in utilising digital platforms, in particular customer relationship management systems (CRMs).Experience segmenting and targeting data for successful campaigns.The successful candidate will:
