Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – DASSA Withdrawal Services, Glenside– Alcohol & Drug Information Service (ADIS) Salary $64,503 - $72,651 (Pro Rata) ENDP| 0.53 FTE – 6 month contract available.

The Illicit Drug Diversion Initiative (IDDI) Enrolled Nurse supports the provision of the IDDI service by responding to diversion notifications from South Australian Police Officers (SAPOL) and undertaking administrative functions in line with the Drug Diversion Line (DDL) operations manual.
The Enrolled Nurse will also respond to calls made over night to the Drug and Alcohol Clinical Advisory Service and the SAPOL Psych line About the role:  Some of your duties in this role may include: Ensuring all relevant paperwork is processed according to the DDL operations manual.
Contributing to the provision and delivery of an efficient and timely Drug Diversion line (DDL) and DACAS service by: Providing assistance to other members of the health care team in provision of care to individuals/groups, including overseeing the work of students.
Please note: This is a permanent night duty position working 10 hour shifts.
About you: Registered or eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Possesses sound computing skills, including the use of MS Office products, data entry and the use and maintenance of information systems to support service delivery.
Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Proven experience in delivering high quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and   Quality Health Care Service Standards.
