Our client is one of Australia's leading law firms and due to growth, an influx of new work and new clients, this employment team is looking to recruit a talented employment lawyer with at least 2 years plus employment law experience.

The partners of this employment team are always ranked at the top of the legal tables and act for household name employers, local & international clients, clients in a broad range of industry sectors e.g. finance, property, construction, not for profit, resources, retail, manufacturing, education.

A flavour of the work will include:

discrimination and bullying matters terminations and unfair dismissals drafting employment contracts advising on post employment restraints workplace training advising clients in relation to adverse actions advising clients in relation to EBAs and modern awards This is a 'hands on' role and you will be given client and matter responsibility.

About You You will be an employment lawyer with at least 2 years pae, lawyers working in-house or for an employer association will be looked on favourably as would pre-admission experience Strong drafting, advisory, litigation and strategy skills Interpersonal and communication skills Strong client relationship and client building skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage competing deadlines and work under pressure Passion for employment and workplace relations law Benefits & Culture
