The Firm & The Role
Our client is a global heavyweight and their employment team has no shortage of work. To this end, our client is looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic employment lawyer at the 1 to 4 year pae level.

This is a role where you will work on a broad range of employment law matters e.g. discrimination, bullying, unfair dismissals. It is also a role where you will have lots of client facing and you will have partner access. The clients of this firm include household name brands.

Although the focus of this role is employment litigation, you will also be involved in drafting and advising on contracts of employment and advising on the interpretation of and practical application of modern awards and enterprise agreements.

About You

You will be a lawyer with around 1 to 4 years pae in either employment law or commercial litigation; candidates working in-house or for an employer association will be looked upon favourably
Have strong drafting, advisory, litigation and strategy skills
Have excellent communication skills
Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
You will be highly organised
Ability to manage competing deadlines and work under pressure
A genuine interest in progressing your career in the employment law space
