The Firm Our boutique law firm client is based about 10km Southwest of the CBD.
Headed by an ex top tier expert in building and construction law, the firm was founded years ago to provide a personalised service to builders and developers.
The firm has since grown to include all areas of legal practice.
It is now home to approx.
7 staff who are as collegiate and friendly as they are professional.
This firm represents a chance to work autonomously, but with plenty of guidance and support.

This role is different from others The role will commence at 4 days per week.
It can be structured flexibly, or around school hours if necessary.
This position is ideal for someone with exceptional attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
The Role Our client is keen to hire a go-getting lawyer with strong conveyancing experience.
This means you will have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of Victorian property law, conveyancing processes, and the regulatory landscape.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing property transactions from start to finish, including residential, commercial, and off-the-plan projects.
As part of this role you will: Manage end-to-end property transactions, overseeing contract reviews, property transfers, and settlement processes.
Your role will involve conducting thorough title and property searches to identify issues and collaborating with relevant parties for resolution.
Draft and review legal documents like sale contracts and section 32 statements.
Effectively communicate, as this is key in this role.
You will engage with clients, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, banks, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless transactions.
Stay updated on legislative changes to ensure adherence and compliance with Victorian conveyancing laws.
Utilize conveyancing software, maintaining precise records, managing tasks, and meeting deadlines efficiently.
Guide clients through property settlements.
Be proficient in conveyancing software (e.g., PEXA) and general office software (e.g., MS Office).
Have experience managing residential, commercial, and off-the-plan transactions.
You You will be a lawyer with: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering a high level of client service.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving transaction issues.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
