Location: Taree, NSW Start Date: As soon as possible or February 2025 We are presently arranging interviews for an Emergency Medicine Specialist or candidates who are nearing the completion of their fellowship training.
The triumphant candidate will become a part of a dynamic team that provides first-rate emergency care in a contemporary, well-equipped regional facility.
About Hospital: Manning Base Hospital in Taree is a key regional healthcare facility with 150 beds, delivering a comprehensive array of services, including a busy emergency department.
Located approximately 310 km north of Newcastle and 340 km south of the Queensland border, it serves a vital role in the region's healthcare network.
The hospital's emergency department is well-resourced to handle a broad range of acute medical conditions, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Qualifications: FACEM: Must hold Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM) or be nearing completion of the fellowship.
Medical Registration: Current medical registration with AHPRA Experience and Skills: Clinical Experience: Proven experience in emergency medicine, managing a wide range of acute medical and trauma cases.
Skills: Competence in high-pressure decision-making and effective management of emergency situations.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working within a multidisciplinary team and with patients.
Personal Attributes: Commitment: Dedicated to delivering high-quality emergency care and engaging in continuous professional development.
Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic healthcare team.
Adaptability: Flexible and capable of excelling in a regional healthcare setting.
Additional Requirements: Availability: Available to start as soon as possible or by February 2025.
Residency: Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship preferred, but not required.
