An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of the Emergency Management Coordinator.
Reporting to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides support to the organisation over a wide range of health and wellbeing services.
Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and systems to prevent and address Emergency Management as relevant to Healthcare.
Our preferred candidate will have: Qualifications in Emergency Management related discipline.Extensive experience of Emergency Management systems.Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and an ability to utilize a variety of software systems.Demonstrated experience in providing operational management advice and working in collaboration with both internal and external key stakeholders.The following experience/qualifications would also be considered advantageous: Extensive knowledge of Victorian Occupational Health & Safety legislation and regulations.Knowledge of privacy legislation and document control.Previous experience within a hospital or health care environment.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122).About our organisation The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer-focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care, and community health services to 45,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural, and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond.
The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne.
