Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timePPK Mining Equipment is an original equipment manufacturer, specialising in the manufacture, overhaul, repair and maintenance of underground mining equipment, tooling, and consumables for the mining and related industries. Our main products are the Driftrunner, COALTRAM, JUG-A-0, Brumby, Mining Repair Alternators, Firefly / Rambor drilling products and a range of Exd Electrical equipment.Our company continues to expand where we now have 5 facilities, 3 in NSW & 2 in Queensland employing nearly 200 people.We are currently looking for a Branch Manager to join and lead our team in Industrial Drive, Emerald. This role is a full-time offering with an immediate start at our Emerald Service Facility. We have a large, clean and modern workshop in Emerald, with plenty of space and parking spots available.This is a rare opportunity for an experienced candidate to lead our Emerald Branch.Responsibilities:Leading and managing the day-to-day operations of our Emerald facility.Coordinating the operations of service repairs and overhauls of specialised mining vehicles.Effectively planning, scheduling and controlling smooth workflow throughout the workshop facility.Ensuring that operations comply with internal quality systems, participating in audits as required.Ensuring all plant and equipment manufactured, serviced and repaired is compliant with current safety legislation, Australian Standards, regulations and codes of practice.Monitoring company processes to enable the minimisation of waste and rework.Assisting with the development of the budget for our Emerald Branch.Identifying and reporting on variances to the budget and implementing plans to recover from any negative variance.Managing labour and branch operating costs.Establishing, communicating and monitoring KPIs and Efficiency and Productivity levels within the agreed parameters.Qualifications:Engineering or Trade Qualification.Previous experience in a similar role, as well as being recognised as a Nominated Competent Person or Supervisor.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to build strong relationships with work colleagues, Customers and suppliers.Previous experience in Pronto operating system as well as Microsoft Office Suite.Results Driven.Ability to solve problems and generate effective solutions.Highly organised and able to provide the dedication to meet tight deadlines at times.A pro-active "can-do" attitude with confidence to take on a variety of tasks.A pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing, is an essential requirement of the employment conditions with PPKME.If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you!To Apply:Select the "Apply Now" button and upload your resume and cover letter outlining your ability to meet the above selection criteria.
