We pride ourselves on being big enough to manage, yet small enough to care! Description:Working as part of our Emerald team, you'll be an important part of each passenger's experience! As the 'face of the company' to clients and passengers, you will put safety and the customers' needs at the heart of all required tasks.The successful candidate for this role is required to hold an Australian Drivers license (Provisional license as a minimum (Red P's)) and also pass a pre-employment medical prior to beginning training and employment. We are looking to hold training from Monday 6th January 2025 - Friday 10th January 2025 in Albury (travel and accommodation and expenses are provided). Key Responsibilities of a Ramp Officer:Perform Ramp functions including marshalling aircraft on the ramp (e.g. directing, assisting and parking all arriving, departing and towed aircraft)Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, other airlines and to passengersResponsible for courteous, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer baggage, airfreight and company material; continuous lifting, loading/unloading, sorting and transfer of baggage, freight and company material.Ensure compliance with all Uniform & PPE requirements Management of GSEEnsure the safe and secure operation of all equipment.Test all relevant equipment for serviceability before commencement of every shift.Skills and Experiences:On Offer:Opportunity to be part of a family-oriented business where you are truly valued.Ongoing career training and development with in-house programsDiscounts and benefits across travel, retail, lifestyle and other areas, from a huge variety of companies, including SpecSavers, Contiki Holidays, Hello Fresh, Koala Furniture and many more!The ideal candidate:A valid Australian driver licenceA valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) - or ability to obtain oneAwareness of the importance in achieving on-time performance goals in an efficient and safe mannerExcellent organisation and time management skillsStrong ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlinesCustomer focus to deliver exceptional serviceAbility to adapt to changing priorities and situationsAble to work well in a fast-paced team environmentHighly personable and able to communicate and influence a diverse range of stakeholdersManual Handling proceduresConflict resolution skillsProficient in report writing, in plain and clear EnglishIntermediate skills for Microsoft Office Suite #J-18808-Ljbffr
