The Eligibility Officer is one of the first points of contact for all claimsing into the business so is at the frontline of the claims experience for our workers and employers.
As claimse into our business we need to make a decision on whether to accept or reject the claim.
This role epasses the investigating, strategising, managing and following up information and evidence to support sound decision making with the respect to the claim oue.

To make this happen we're seeking customer-focussed individuals with excellent writtenmunication skills and a curious mind who have the ability to analyse information and ultimately make a sound decision in line with the Return to Work Act 2014.
This will be a permanent, full time position based in our Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Take calls from the work queue and manage enquiries accordingly Request information required to assist in the liability assessment process Proactively manage claim determinations forplex claims, ensuring clear documentation of actions throughout the determination process Ensure that allocated work is actioned within appropriate timeframes Provide accurate andplete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations & responsibilities) Adopt a service-orientated approach that is focused on the interests of workers and employers Liaise effectively with third party stakeholders, solicitors, IMEs and investigators In conjunction with the Team Leader identify, develop and implement effective strategies to support the achievement of key performance and remuneration measures ABOUT YOU Strong customer service skills Excellent oral and writtenmunication skills Attention to detail and organisational skills High level problem solving and sound decision making The ability to effectively negotiate and influence Tertiary studies in business, law or allied health is advantageous Previous experience in a similar role within worker'spensation or insurance and/or professional services or previous experience within a legal environment would also be advantageous WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
