Weber plays an important role in the supply chain of several electricity distributors, hence the ability to produce special assemblies on short notice is critical.
We are seeking skilled and qualified Electronic Equipment Trades Workers.
The role includes but is not limited to:
Examine and test machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults.Read schematic and wiring diagrams.Work with the engineering team to implement new designs into the system.Build a range of low voltage switchboards, cabinets, pillars and pits.Adjust, repair, and replace worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintain machines, equipment and instruments.Reassemble, test operate and adjust equipment.Advise users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.Receive messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission.Monitor radio traffic, and transmit and receive voice messages.Install electronic instruments and control systems.Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems.Work with the production team to achieve DIFOT requirements.To be considered for this role, you must have:
Trade qualification or equivalent.Previous experience in switchboard manufacturing or installation.Ability to read schematic drawings.Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.Strong communication skills.Strong diagnostic abilities.Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable.Benefits of working with us:
Four-day week working Monday to Thursday with overtime available Friday and Saturday most weeks.Consistent and safe working environment, all work is performed within the manufacturing premises in Eight Mile Plains free from weather or other interruptions.The position has room for growth for a person willing to learn and grow with the business.This is a full time, permanent position and would suit those looking for a long-term position.WSP doesn't have the highs and lows of many other businesses.
