Sydney Water have partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver design, construct, maintenance and facilities management services across the Southern Region of Sydney.
D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. What we are looking for is an industrial electrician to join our teams based out of the Eastern Suburbs.
Your day-to-day activities include performing planned and reactive maintenance across our region.
Must HaveElectrical LicenceAn Australian Recognised Trade CertificateAustralian Drivers LicenceMust be physically fitConditionsElectrical licence allowances $64.25 per week and various other allowances included.Rates per hour $49.73 - 51.73Afternoon shift is paid at 15% + on-call has standby allowance of $111 per day (on call rota is 1 in 8 weeks)Asset types requiring maintenance may include:UV equipmentCathodic protectionChemical dosing equipment experienceWastewater and water pumping stations and associated equipmentLow pressure and vacuum systemsMixers, blower, gearboxes, skimmers, actuators and valvesGenerator maintenance servicing, connections during outagesWastewater treatment plantsAs part of the Operations Maintenance team, your day-to-day activities include:Accountability to safely conduct role within D4C and Sydney Water's safety, compliance, and environmental policiesPerform planned maintenance, ensuring compliance and safety of plant and equipmentResponsive maintenance to equipment faults on shiftRegular inspections, identifying opportunities for continuous improvementFault finding and rectification, including reporting and record maintenanceInstallation and testing of new equipmentGeneral day-to-day maintenance activitiesWho you arePractical and theoretical knowledge of SCADAPump maintenance, electric motorsUnderstanding and application of leading policies and proceduresInstrumentation qualifications will be viewed favourablyOperational information:Permanent full-time role Mon to Fri on day shift 7am startFavourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances and overtime1 week every 8 weeks afternoon shift 3:30 start, with an on-call component and weekend rosterLeave entitlements, RDO's and benefitsWe need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.
