The successful applicant will need to be a dynamic, practical person with an assertive and "can do" mindset as they will be required to be an active member of the electrical maintenance team.
ROLE CONTEXT This role is primarily day work, 7.00 am -3.30 pm however given the nature of the role shift work may be required.
The successful applicant will possess the skills necessary to carry out electrical maintenance, capital for a factory/plant to meet maintenance targets, goals and objectives.
The successful applicants will be required to: Carry out mill plant maintenance and capital works as directed which pertains to skills held.
Plant items include wiring, circuitry, mills, turbines, fugals, conveyors, carriers, pumps, fans, gearboxes, motors, vessels.
Work as part of a maintenance crew to meet the agreed factory production and maintenance targets.
Work in conjunction with parameters set by established condition monitoring techniques.
Complete electrical work for projects to enhance the operational availability of plant and equipment.
Actively participate in and support Company Workplace Health and Safety initiatives ROLE REQUIREMENTS Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the role will require the job holder to install, maintain and diagnose faults /repair electrical equipment including: Wiring, circuitry and lighting Motor starters, variable speed drives General electrical items associated with sugar milling equipment.
Experience in using a computerised maintenance management system would be desirable Assist with initiating and developing projects to enhance the availability and efficiency of plant and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS Successful applicants must hold a Queensland Electrical License endorsed as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic or Electrical Mechanic or the equivalent.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS The terms and conditions of the Millaquin and Refinery Enterprise Agreement 2023 (EBA) or subsequent agreement will apply.
